I grew up in the US and lived in the UK before making Berlin my home. Over the past 20 years, I have spoken with many people about their lives through my work as a sociologist.
Today, I help clients understand themselves and their experiences with greater clarity, compassion, and perspective.

As a sociologist and counsellor, I combine expertise on society and culture with human connection to create a warm space to explore life's complexities.
Having navigated these experiences myself, I understand the challenge of balancing the roles of professional, mother, and partner, as well as moving across different social and cultural contexts.
I take an open-minded and non-judgemental stance towards all sexual and gender orientations, diverse consensual relationship constructs and practices, and bring an acute awareness of racism, sexism, and intersectional inequalities, informed by more than 15 years of academic research in these areas.
More about my areas of focusAs a qualitative social scientist with extensive experience in diverse methodological approaches to exploring social and cultural contexts, I offer a range of creative, non-traditional tools that go beyond conventional talk-based approaches.
